What are Mobile coupons?

Mobile / Digital coupons are the electronic delivery of coupon offers to Adult Tobacco Consumers 21 years of age or older (ATC’s).

What are the benefits of mobile coupons?

Who is eligible TO PARTICIPATE?

All retailers who agree to accept mobile coupons from National Tobacco Co. (NTC) / Turning Point Brands (TPBi) and that acknowledge a document stating their acceptance.

Retailers Responsibilities

Verify that the consumer purchasing the product with an NTC mobile coupon off is 21+ years of age. Then verify the following information from the phone:

  1. CORRECT STORE NAME & ADDRESS
  2. CORRECT DATE & TIME
  3. RUNNING 5 MINUTE TIMER
  4. BARCODE CLEARLY VISIBLE

Scan coupon bar code and complete the transaction. Done! 

Mobile coupons will utilize standard manufacturers’ coupon UPCs (same as paper coupons). If your Point-Of-Sale (POS) system can accept paper coupons, then mobile coupons should work too. If unable to scan (no POS system), follow the same process as paper coupons and enter manually.

Maintain mobile coupon participation by encouraging Adult Tobacco Consumers to sign up for mobile coupons via Stoker’s mobile platform (MyStokers.com).

How you get paid

  • Upon redemption of a coupon our platform will receive and track the redemption for your store
  • At the end of each Month, you will be mailed a coupon redemption check from National Tobacco/Free Mountain. With a redemption summary for your store/stores.

How does a CONSUMER
 redeem a Coupon?

  • Within the Stoker mobile platform, the ATC will select the Coupon and then the Store.
  • The ATC will have 5 minutes to redeem the offer, therefore the consumer should only select “I’m Ready” when they are at the register and ready to redeem.
  • Once the transaction is complete, the consumer can select “I’m Done”.

MORE PRESENSE:
Your store will be listed and can be featured on Stoker’s mobile website and consumer mobile application(s).

MORE CONSUMERS:
With the Stoker’s mobile coupon program featured on every can and tub, ATC’s will be seeking to find stores where they can redeem their mobile coupons. Make your store one of them!

DRIVE SALES:
Utilize Stoker’s consumer database and geofence consumers who are within a 10 mile radius of participating retail locations. Send weekly email reminders to ATC’s driving consumers to retailers close to their proximity.

Stoker’s Mobile Coupon
Retailers participating in the Stoker’s Mobile Coupon platform can participate in either the Manufacturer or Trade coupon offer plans. A chain can only participate in one plan, not both.

Manufacturer Coupon Offers
Manufacturer coupon offers can be redeemed in any participating retail location. Manufacturer coupon offers are structured based on the tax rates of each state. If a chain has a store geography that spans multiple states, the mobile coupon platform will use the location of the store where the customer is redeeming the offer.

The Stoker’s team has segmented the states into 3 categories: Low Tax, Mid Tax, and High Tax.

  • Low Tax States: AL, AZ, GA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, MS, NC, NE, NM, NV, OH, SC, TN, VA, WV
  • Mid Tax States: AK, CO, FL, HI, ID, IL, MD, MI, MT, ND, NJ, PA, SD, WY
  • High Tax States: AR, CA, CT, DE, IA, MA, ME, MN, NH, NY, OK, OR, RI, TX, UT, VT, WA, WI

Custom Offers can be redeemed only in a designated chain’s stores. Custom coupon offer values are based on an arrangement between the chain and Stoker’s sales and marketing team. The system allows for up to 4 highly customizable Custom Offers. In addition to customizable coupon offer values, the chain’s logo is placed on the coupon tile. Retailer Mobile Coupons Terms and Conditions Acknowledgement

NOTICE TO RETAILER: National Tobacco Company, L.P. (“NTC”) is offering mobile coupon rebates to qualifying retailers (“Retailers”) who carry Stoker's® brand moist snuff and 16 oz. loose leaf tobacco products (“Products”). Any Retailer participating in the mobile coupon program (“Program”) agrees to accept and honor all valid coupons (“Coupons”) offered thru NTC's age-gated mobile platform (“App”) advertising the Products to adult tobacco consumers. Retailer shall at all times comply with legal requirements to sell tobacco products, including the Products, exclusively to adult tobacco consumers by verifying age of the purchaser as confirmed on a government-issued ID prior to purchase. The App may contain a store locator function to assist consumers in locating Retailers who carry the Products and who are accepting the Coupons. By participating in the Program, Retailer agrees to abide by NTC's coupon redemption policy (“Policy”), which may be amended from time to time in NTC's sole discretion. NTC may terminate the Program at any time, without notice to Retailer. NTC's Policy includes the requirement for Retailer to cooperate with any audit applicable to Retailer's requests for payment under the Program. NTC may reject any payment request by Retailer that does not conform to the Policy or the Program. The Program is limited to the United States and is void where restricted or prohibited by law. Retailer consents to these terms, the Program, and the Policy through Retailer's participation in the Program.

Retailer: You must provide a mailing address, email address, along with the check recipient’s name to your National Tobacco rep when signing up for the Stoker’s Mobile Coupon program.
